Since we are a Christian organization, this Statement of Faith explains our position on the essentials of historical Christianity.
- We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, we refer to Scripture as the ultimate guide and authority on all matters of life, including relations, conduct and human sexuality. We test all theories and beliefs, whether psychological or philosophical, against the Bible to determine their merit. If they are confirmed in scripture, we confirm them. If they are neither confirmed nor contradicted by scripture, we consider them. If they are contradicted by scripture, we reject them.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of Christ, in His Virgin Birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
- We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; we further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
